I was pretty nervous at first, but now that I'm in the Dog House, I love playing with toys, meeting people, and hopefully finding my forever home! I have had my fair share of treats, and I need help slimming down and maintaining an active lifestyle. I do LOVE to go for walks, so that shouldn't be too hard! Sometimes I love my toys a little *too* much, so I need a family who understands that I learned to guard them and give me patience while I learn I don't have to do that anymore. Hi, I’m Sugar, and I've been at Vanderpump Dogs for 9 months 💔 I was marked as a “sweet girl” and “cuddle bug” on my shelter kennel, and the Vanderpump Dogs team couldn’t believe I was on a 72-hour notice! I LOVE people, and I want to be cuddled up with you or follow you around to see what you’re up to. I love to run and play fetch, play with the hose/sprinklers, and practice my training with volunteers. But, I need to have my own space from other dogs. I am reactive toward other dogs, and I need a home with no other pets. I have a good heart, but I was probably attacked by another dog before, and now I live with that fear and want to protect my people. I have worked with trainers, volunteers and fosters, and significantly improved during my stay at Vanderpump Dogs! I am potty trained, crate trained, and love kids. I also love going for long walks, especially in nature or at the beach. I mostly need extra guidance on walks when I encounter other dogs. I have been waiting a long time...give me a chance and fall in love with me!

Hi world, I'm Austin and I am a very special boy! I have an eye defect called microphthalmia, meaning my eyes are underdeveloped. I am blind in one eye, but I can see a little bit out of the other...it just faces the side, so I have a very cute tilted-head posture! I got sick in the shelter, and developed pneumonia, which has been hard on my already tiny body. I'm currently recovering at the rescue center and getting better every day! Hi, I'm Gracie! I am a very sweet and easygoing girl. I was rescued from the medical room of a shelter after having emergency pyometra surgery. However, I still have a mass on my vulva that tested suspicious for skin cancer. I'm currently at a loving foster while I wait for my appointment to remove the mass and get it fully biopsied. I like cuddling up with other dogs my size, and I get along with cats! I also enjoy short walks in the sunshine. I really love my people and I will follow you around and love getting snuggled! Hi, I’m Freddy! I am a senior gentleman who is looking for a peaceful home. I found myself at a high-kill shelter, where Vanderpump Dogs rescued me. I am so loving and have plenty of energy! When I was first rescued, I was treated for a respiratory infection, ear infection, and urinary infection, as well as getting me neutered. After that, I started to feel much better, but then I started having trouble going potty and it was discovered I had bladder stones. I recently had surgery to remove them and am still recovering at a foster right now. I have been through so much and am really looking forward to a peaceful home. I like people, but I only like dogs who leave me alone and give me space. Sometimes I just want to take a nap in peace! I would be perfect for someone looking for a more mature dog to be part of their family, and I have a face that will make you fall in love instantly!
